CHAPTER 662.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 10 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Dorchester
County," sub-title "Fur," to be known as Section 189-A
and to follow immediately after Section 189 of said Article,
relating to trespassing on lands or marshes to catch, trap
or shoot muskrats, otters or minks., and for other purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland^ That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 10 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edi-
tion), title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Fur," to be known
as Section 189-A, to follow immediately after Section 189 of
said Article, and to read as follows:

189-A. Any person found trespassing upon the lands or
marshes of another in said county with the intention of catch-
ing, trapping or shooting any muskrats, 'otters or minks with-
out the permission of the owner of said lands or marshes, shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof
in the circuit court for said county, shall be fined not less than
twenty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, or be im-
prisoned in the county jail not exceeding thirty days, or until
the payment of said fine and costs; one-half of said fine to be
paid to the County Commissioners, for the use of the public
schools of the county, and the other half to the informer.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 663.

AN ACT to regulate the licensing of auctioneers in Carroll
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no person shall be entitled to engage in busi-
ness as an auctioneer in Carroll County unless he shall have
first taken out a license as hereinafter provided.
