the Sheriff at least ten days before the commencement of said
term, and upon all judgments rendered in such cases, there
shall be a stay of thirty days and no longer; provided that
either party may appeal to the Court of Appeals of Maryland
from any ruling or decision of any question of law decided by
the Circuit Court in such trial. And in case the defendant
shall appeal and file a proper appeal bond, the said stay of
thirty days shall be counted from the affirmance of such judg-
ment if the same shall be affirmed, and not from the date of
the judgment below.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect upon the 1st day of June, 1927.

CHAPTER 95.
AN ACT to repeal Section 6, Section 20 and Section 26, re-
spectively, as enacted by Chapter 563 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, 1914, entitled "An Act to
repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 311 of the
Acts of 1904, " entitled " An Act to incorporate the Town
of Vienna, in Dorchester County, Maryland, " and to re-
enact the said Section 6, Section 20 and Section 26, respec-
tively, with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 6, Section 20 and Section 26, respec-
tively, as enacted by Chapter 563 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, 1914, entitled "An Act to repeal and
and re-enact with amendments Chapter 311 of the Acts of
of 1904, " entitled "An Act to incorporate the Town of Vienna,
in Dorchester County, Maryland,, " be and the said Sections
are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as
to read as follows:
Section 6. That the Commissioners shall meet in some con-
venient place in said town on every first Monday in the month
of April, July, October and January succeeding their election,
for the transaction of their business as such Commissioners,
and as much oftener as they shall deem necessary to the dis-
charge of their duties as such Commissioners.
