CHAPTER 578.

AN ACT to repeal Section 111 of Article 75 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Pleadings, Prac-
tice and Process at Law, " sub-title "Removal of Causes, '
said section providing that in St. Mary's, Prince George's,
Charles and Calvert Counties causes are to be removed to
Court in adjoining Circuit.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 111 of Article 75 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Pleadings, Practice and Pro-
cess at Law, " sub-title "Removal of Causes, " be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

Approved April 26, 1927.

CHAPTER 579.

AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct the Board of
County Commissioners of Howard County to borrow upon
the faith and credit of said County, to the amount of One
Hundred and Forty Thousand Dollars ($140, 000. 00), and
to issue and sell coupon bonds therefor, the proceeds thereof
to be used in acquiring school sites at Elkridge, Savage and
Scaggsville, and for the erection and equipment of school
buildings on said school sites so acquired, and to provide for
the payment of interest on said bonds and of the principal
thereof, by the levy of taxes, and declaring this Act an
Emergency Law.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County Commissioners of Howard
County be, and they are hereby, authorized, empowered and di-
rected to issue serial coupon bonds on the faith and credit of
said County, to the amount of One Hundred and Forty Thou-
sand Dollars ($140, 000. 00) par value, said bonds to be issued
in denominations of One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00), or a mul-
tiple thereof, to bear interest at a rate not exceeding four and
one-half (4 1/2%) per centum per annum, payable semi-an-
