holes, having the appearance of shot or bullet holes, shall, be
prima facie evidence that it was a Muskrat so shot or killed.

(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt any Rac-
coon or Opossum within the State of Maryland, between the
first day of February and the first day of November follow-
ing, in each and every year, both dates exclusive. It shall
be unlawful for any person to hunt any Raccoon or Opossum,
between sunrise and sunset. It shall be unlawful to cut a tree
at any time for the purpose of catching, killing or dislodging
a Raccoon or Opossum, unless by consent of owner of said
tree or trees, and no person shall set, place, keep or maintain
any steel traps or other similar device for the purpose of catch-
ing Raccoon or Opossum.

(c) Any person found guilty before any Justice of the
Peace of this State of hunting Muskrats, Otter, Raccoon or
Opossum in any manner, and at any time, except as herein
provided, shall be fined not less than Twenty-five Dollars
($25. 00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100. 00) for
each and every offense, and in addition to said fine so imposed
shall be fined Five Dollars ($5. 00), for each and every such
skin had in possession in violation of this sub-title. All such
skins found in possession in violation of this sub-title shall
be confiscated by the officers making the arrest and turned
over to the Game Warden, who may dispose of same as he
may deem advisable to the best interests of this State.

RAISING GAME IN CAPTIVITY.

63. Any person desiring to raise and sell game birds or
game animals of any species, on land or water of which he is
the bona fide owner or lessee, may make application in writing
to the Game Warden of this State for a license so to do.
The Game Warden, upon receipt of a license fee of Five
Dollars ($5. 00) may issue to the applicant a Breeder's
license permitting such applicant to breed and protect the
game raised on the land or water owned or leased by said
licensee. Said license shall expire on the thirty-first day of
December after date of issuance. No license shall be issued
to any person owning or leasing land or water which is not
enclosed with a fence or water satisfactory to the Game
Warden. If the land is an entire island or if it is partially
surrounded by water and enclosed with a fence where it ad-
joins other land, the same shall be acceptable under the terms
of this section.
