be and it is hereby authorized to use a portion of the proceeds
from the State Loan, known as the "Western Maryland College
Loan of 1924" authorized by Chapter 366 of the Acts of 1924,
in liquidating the present indebtedness of said College, pro-
vided that not more than seventy-one thousand dollars ($71, -
000. 00) of said proceeds shall be used for such purpose.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 80.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 39 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Fish and Fisher-
ies, " sub-title "Patuxent, " to be known as Section 21-A and
to follow immediately after Section 21 of said Article, pro-
hibiting fishing with pound nets and crabbing with trot lines
in the mouth of the Patuxent River except residents of the
Counties bordering on the Patuxent River.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Patuxent", to be known
as Section 21A, to follow immediately after Section 21 of said
Article, and to read as follows:
21A. It shall not be lawful for any person, except bona
fide residents of Counties bordering on the Patuxent River, to
fish with the aid of a pound net, or to crab or take crabs with the
aid of a trot line in the mouth of the Patuxent river above a line
drawn from Cedar Point in St. Mary's County to Cove Point in
Calvert County. Violations shall be punished as in Section 21
of this Article provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.
