School for the Blind as of the first day of January, April,
July and October respectively in each year. Any balance from
said levy at the end of the year shall revert to the treasury of
said counties or said city, and any deficiency, if any, shall be
included in the next succeeding levy and forthwith paid to
The Maryland School for the Blind. Taxes levied and collected
in any county or the City of Baltimore for the purpose named
in this Act shall be used to defray the expenses of the blind
minors and colored deaf minors committed to The Maryland
School for the Blind, and shall not be transferred to any other
fund by the city or county authorities.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 377.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 40 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "General Assembly, '' sub-title ''De-
partment of Legislative Reference, " said new section to be
known as Section 17 and to follow immediately after Section
16 of said Article, providing that copies of reports issued
by the several officers, boards and commissions be filed with
the Department of Legislative Reference.

WHEREAS, It is desirable to have available in one place all
reports of state officials, boards and commissions; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
40 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "General Assem-
bly, " sub-title "Department of Legislative Reference, " said
new section to be known as Section 17, to follow immediately
after Section 16 of said Article, and to read as follows:

17. It shall be the duty of every officer, board and commis-
sion of the State, including special or temporary officers, boards
and commissions, to file with the Department of Legislative
Reference a copy of every regular or special report issued by
him or it, whether such report be in printed or other form.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.
