Anne's County, pay a fine of not less than ten or more than
twenty-five dollars, and in case of failure to pay said fine with
costs, shall be confined in the county jail for a period of thirty
days; the informer to get one-half of all fines under this Act.
and the residue of said fines to be paid by clerks over to the
County Commissioners for the use of the public roads; pro-
vided, however, that it shall not be lawful for any person to
shoot at or shoot wild fowl of any kind whatsoever from any
vessel, boat, float, canoe or craft of any kind or from any sink
box or from what are known as booby blinds, in or over the
waters of Chester River and its tributaries lying within Queen
Anne's County above Melton Point.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That a new section be and
it is hereby added to Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title
"Wild Fowl, " said new section to be known as Section 283B
and to follow immediately after Section 283A of said Article,
and to read as follows:
283B. All owners of riparian rights on any of the waters
of Queen Anne's County shall, by virtue of said ownership, be
first, entitled to make a choice of the "set" or position in front
of the property on which they are owners or tenants of the
riparian rights for the purpose of erecting or maintaining a
booby or brush blind: provided that said riparian owners shall
avail themselves of said choice of location and clearly mark
the same within not less than twenty days prior to the open
season fixed by law for shooting or hunting wild fowl in this
State.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 252.
AN ACT to provide for the protection of the property of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the drain-
age areas and water supply under the jurisdiction of said
Commission.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or cor-
poration to use, handle, tamper with, obstruct, interfere with,
deface or destroy any of the property of the Washington Sub-
urban Sanitary Commission, including pipes, fittings, fire-
