school for colored children at Robinson;
Two thousand dollars ($2, 000) for a new school for colored
children at Cross Roads;
Two thousand two hundred dollars ($2, 200) for a new school
for colored children at Bristol;
Two thousand two hundred dollars ($2, 200) for a new school
for colored children at Freetown;
One thousand dollars ($1, 000) for a new school for colored
children at Friendship;
One thousand dollars ($1, 000) for a new school for colored
children at Annapolis Neck;
One thousand dollars ($1. 000 for additional rooms at Pum-
phrey's colored school;
Two thousand dollars ($2, 000) for a new school at Iglehart.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the said money
shall be used for no other purposes than designated in this Act.
And the said Board is hereby given full and ample power to
make contracts and enforce the execution of the same, to em-
ploy architects and workmen when necessary, to purchase
materials and generally to do any and all things under sound
and customary business practice, in carrying out the provisions
of this Act.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the immedi-
ate, preservation of the public health and safety, and being
