in paving and repaving such streets and alleys, laying or
constructing sewers, grading, regrading, curbing, recurbing,
opening, widening and laying out streets and public places as
they shall deem proper under all the powers which now pre-
vail in the town of Lonaconing for the paving and repaving
of streets and alleys, laying or constructing sewers, grading,
regrading, curbing, recurbing, opening, widening and laying
out streets and public places, with all the rights and privi-
leges to the said Mayor and Town Council of Lonaconing to
file liens, and collect the same as is now secured to said Mayor
and Town Council by the charter of the town of Lonaconing,
and when any amounts are collected against property holders
by reason of said improvements, the money so collected shall
be again placed in the said Improvement Fund and used for
said purpose of new improvements on other streets and pub-
lic places, and the same system of collecting the money and
the making of improvements shall continue until such time as
the said Mayor and Town Council may direct or until such
funds shall become exhausted.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That in the event said
bonds are issued the Mayor and Town Council of Lonaconing
shall levy out of the general funds of said town the sum of
one thousand dollars, and such further amount as may be
necessary to pay the interest upon the bonds hereby authorized,
then outstanding from year to year during each year that
any of the said bonds remain outstanding, and shall collect
said money so levied and pay for and redeem one thousand
dollars of said bonds each year, beginning with the year 1927,
together with the interest upon the remaining: outstanding
bonds. Said sum of one thousand dollars and the amount
necessary for interest as aforesaid, so levied, shall be included
in the general levy of the said Mayor and Town Council of
Lonaconing, and shall be exclusive of and in addition to the
amounts which said Mayor and Town Council of Lonaconing
are now authorized to levy.

SEC. 4, And be it further enacted, That the money levied
and collected as provided for in the preceding, section of this
Act shall be paid to the Mayor and to two other persons to
be selected by the Council of the town of Lonaconing as Trus-
tees of the Sinking Fund for the General Improvement Bonds,
and said trustees shall use said money for the sole purpose of
redeeming one thousand dollars a year of this bond issue as
