among the Marriage Records of Talbot County on the 2d of
May, 1884.

WHEREAS, On the 28th day of April, 1883, one Isaac Covey
applied to the office of the clerk of the Circuit Court for Talbot
County, Maryland, for a marriage license between J. Bradford
Tucker and Henrietta Tucker, both of Talbot County, Mary-
land; and

WHEREAS, said license was duly issued on said 28th day of
April, 1883; and

WHEREAS, the name J. Bradford Tucker was an error, the
real name of the person for whom the license was intended be-
ing. James Bradford Frampton, and said license as issued to
said Tucker being either through error on the part of the appli-
cant, or error on the part of the Clerk of the Court; and

WHEREAS, the said James Bradford Frampton was before the
issuance of said license and has since marriage been called and
known by the name of Frampton which is and always has been
his true name; and

WHEREAS, said James Bradford Frampton and his wife.
Henrietta Frampton, have since their marriage raised a family
of children who have always been known by the name of
Frampton; and

WHEREAS, the said James Bradford Frampton and his family
desire that the marriage license and the record of marriage
above referred to should be a record of the true names of the
contracting parties; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General, Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name J. Bradford Tucker as appearing on the
marriage license and as appearing in the marriage record among
the records of marriages of Talbot County, Maryland, above re-
ferred to, be changed to James Bradford Frampton.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Clerk of the
Court of Talbot County, Maryland, be and he is hereby author-
ized and directed to correct the said marriage license and the
marriage record as recorded among the Marriage Records of
Talbot County, Maryland, in accordance with the provisions of
this Act.
