in the vicinity of Maryland Park, including the purchase of a
site if necessary.

$60, 000. 00 or so much thereof as may be necessary for the
construction and equipment of a public elementary school
building at Laurel, including the purchase of a site if neces-
sary.

$35, 000. 00 or so much thereof as may be necessary for the
construction and equipment of a public school building in Oxon
Hill district, upon land to be donated by Judge Joseph C.
Mattingly.

$15, 000. 00 or so much thereof as may be necessary for the
construction and equipment of a public school building at Sil-
ver Hill, including the purchase of a site if necessary.

$15, 000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for the
construction and equipment of an addition to the Bowie School
or for alteration to existing building, or for the construction
and equipment of a separate school building in the Town of
Bowie.

The said Board of Education is thereupon authorized to
issue coupon bonds therefor in denominations of not less than
one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand
dollars ($1, 000), each to be signed (by the president of
said Board of Education of Prince George's County and
countersigned by the County Superintendent of schools with
the seal of said Board attached, provided that the coupons for
the interest thereof may be authenticated by the engraved, lith-
ographed or printed signatures of the president of said Board
and the County Superintendent. Said bonds shall be dated on
the date of their issue and shall bear interest at the rate of five
per cent. (5%) per annum, payable semi-annually in each and
every year until maturity, shall be exempt from all county,
state and municipal taxation, shall have printed on them a ref-
erence to this act as authorizing the issue thereof, and may be
registered as to the principal by the County Superintendent in
a separate book to be kept by him for that purpose, if such
registration is desired at any time by any holder thereof. The
principal and interest thereof shall be payable at some bank
or trust company to be determined by said Board of Education
and the place of payment shall be stated an the bonds and
coupons.

Said bonds shall be issued according to what is known as the
serial annuity plan, and each issue shall be in series, lettered
in accordance with the following table. If the entire amount
