CHAPTER 8.

AN ACT to repeal Section 195 of Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Harford County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " as the same was repealed
and re-enacted by Chapter 5 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland at its session of 1920, and re-enact
said section with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 195 of Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County, " sub-
title, "County Commissioners, " as the same was repealed and
re-enacted by Chapter 5 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland at its session of 1920, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

195. The said Clerk to the County Commissioners shall,
from the first day of January, 1924, receive such annual salary
as the County Commissioners shall direct.

Approved March 5, 1924.

CHAPTER 9.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 467.
477 and 483 of Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title, "Harford County, " sub-title, "Taxes
and County Treasurer, " as the same were enacted by the
Acts of 1916, Chapter 680 and the Acts of 1922, Chapter
115.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 467, 477 and 483 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Harford County, "
sub-title, "Taxes and County Treasurer, '' as the same were
enacted by the Acts of 1916, Chapter 680, and said Section
477 was repealed and re-enacted by the Acts of 1922, Chapter
115, be, and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, said amended Sections to read as follows:

467. County taxes shall be due as soon as they are levied,
and shall bear interest from the first day of next May, at the
rate of six. per cent., and on all county taxes paid before May
1st, a discount of one-half per centum per month shall be
allowed.
