in person or by proxy, to vote the stock so to be subscribed for
at any meeting of the stockholders of the corporation issuing
said stock.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be
published by the County Commissioners of Calvert County
in the newspapers printed in Calvert County for two months
preceding the next election for members of the House of Dele-
gates and be subject to the approval of a majority of all the
members elected to each of the General Assembly of Maryland
at its next session after the passage of this Act, and when and
only in the event that this Act shall be finally approved and
legally adopted in accordance with the provisions of Section
54 of Article III of the Constitution of Maryland, then Chap-
ter 720 of the Acts of 1912, Joint Resolution No. 5 of the
1914 session of the General Assembly and Joint Resolution
No. 3 of the 1916 General Assembly shall be and they are
hereby repealed and made of no force and effect.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 597.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 31
and 34 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Elections. " so as to change the hours for registration
and revision in Wicomico and Talbot Counties.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 31 and 34 of Article 33 of Bagby's Code
of Maryland, title "Elections, " be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:
31. Before every November election held in the counties
between the general registration hereinbefore provided for the
last general registration shall be revised by the Board of Reg-
istry of each precinct where such election is to be held; and
for that purpose the Board of Registry shall meet on the Tues-
days, respectively, five and four weeks preceding the regular
fall election, and shall hold a session from 9 o'clock A. M. to
9 o'clock P. M., except that in Wicomico County the said
Board of Registry shall hold a session from 10 o'clock A. M.
to 7 o'clock P. M., and that in Talbot County the said Board
