which may be added fresh eggs and not exceeding 1 per cent,
of pure gelatin, gum-tragacanth or vegetable gum, without
statement of such fact, and such goods may be called ice
cream, provided the required percentage of fat is maintained.
Provided, however, in ice cream, flavored either by fruits or
nuts, a lower milk fat content is permissible, but in no case
shall the ice cream so flavored contain less than 8 per cent, of
milk fat.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent with this Act. be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 587.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Licenses, " sub-title "Auctioneer, "
said new section to be known as Section 7A and to follow
immediately after Section 7 of said Article, regulating the
auction sale of race horses.

(Vetoed. )

CHAPTER 588.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of Education of
Prince George's County to appoint upon nomination of the
County Superintendent of Schools a supervisor of school
property for Prince George's County and to define the duties
of said Supervisor and to provide for said Supervisor's sal-
ary and expenses.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of Education of Prince George's County
shall have authority to appoint in each and every year before
the first day of August and upon nomination of the County
Superintendent of Schools of Prince George's County, a super-
visor of school property, to hold office for a term of one year
from the first day of August next succeeding his appointment.
The County Board of Education may remove such Supervisor
for immorality, misconduct in office, insubordination, incom-
