SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 583.

AN ACT to add a new paragraph to Section 32 of Article 101
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title, ''Workmen's Com-
pensation, " sub-title, ''Application of Article; Extra-Haz-
ardous Employments, " said new paragraph to be known as
42A, and to follow immediately after paragraph 42 of Sec-
tion 32 of said Article, providing that all salesmen who are
employed to solicit orders from customers outside of the
establishment for which they are employed, and sales mana-
gers shall be included within the provisions of said Article.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new paragraph be and the same is hereby added
to Section 32 of Article 101 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, title, "Workmen's Compensation, '' sub-title "Applica-
tion of Article; Extra-Hazardous Employments, " said new
paragraph to be known as 42A, and to follow immediately after
paragraph 42 of Section 32 of said Article, and to read as
follows:

42A. All salesmen including sales managers employed to
solicit orders from customers outside of the establishment for
which they are employed, who are citizens or residents of this
State, employed by a person, firm or corporation having a place
of business within this State, whether the injury for which
compensation is asked was sustained within this State or else-
where. Provided, however, if an employee or the dependents
of an employee shall have received compensation or damages
under the laws of any other State, nothing herein contained
shall be construed so as to permit a total compensation for the
same injury greater than is provided for in this Article.

SEC 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1. 1924.
