riparian owner's property, then it shall be lawful for said
person to locate or place their nets or weirs in front of said
property.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That all local or general
laws inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st. 1924.

CHAPTER 496.
AN ACT to authorize the Police Commissioner of Baltimore
City to reinstate Joseph W. Baldwin as a member of the
Baltimore Police Department.

CHAPTER 497.
AN ACT to amend and continue in force the charter of the Agri-
cultural and Mechanical Association of Washington County,
as said charter was enacted by Chapter 60 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1854, and as revived
and continued in force by Chapter 200 of the Acts of Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1867, and as altered and
amended by Chapter 151 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1870, Chapter 173 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1900, and Chapter 268
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1910,
by repealing and re-enacting with amendments Section 1 of
said Chapter 60 of the said Acts of 1854, and Sections 1
and 7 of said Chapter 151 of the said Acts of 1870, and by
repealing Sections 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of said Chapter 60 of
said Acts of 1854; and to add a new section to said charter
to follow immediately after Section 7 of said Chapter 151
of said Acts of 1870 and to be known as Section 7A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Chapter 60 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1854, and Sections 1 and 7 of Chap-
ter 151 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1870, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:
