1146 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 46S

Trials are held during the open hunting season, every person
handling dogs in said trials is required to have a Hunter's
License and to display the tag as provided by law.

Any person or persons owning bird or rabbit dog or dogs,
who desire to train said dog or dogs during any closed hunting
season for the purpose of entering said dog or dogs in any
Field Trial must secure a permit by applying to the State
Game Warden to train said dog or dogs during any closed
hunting season.

43C. Dogs brought into this State to participate in such
Field Trials and which are to be removed from the State within
fifteen days after said Field Trials are held, shall be exempted
from the payment of state, city or county license tax.

43D. Any person, club, or association violating any of the
provisions of this sub-title, shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction before any Justice of the Peace
of this State, shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars,
nor mote than one hundred dollars for each and every offense,
or be confined in the Baltimore City Jail or the jail in the
county in which said violation occurred for a period of not less
than thirty days.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 468.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners
of Caroline County to borrow money on the credit of said
county for the purpose of repaying to the State Roads Com-
mission the amounts of money advanced to Caroline County
by the State Roads Commission and now remaining unpaid,
and to issue bonds for the payment thereof, and to levy taxes
on the assessable property of said county to redeem said
bonds and to pay the interest thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Caroline County be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow on
the credit of Caroline County a sum of money not exceeding
sixty thousand dollars ($60, 000), and to issue coupon bonds
therefor, said bonds to be signed by the President of the Board
