ALBERT C. RITCHIE, GOVERNOR. 1137

Acts of 1918 of the General Assembly of Maryland, codified
as Section 4-B of Article 81 of the Code of General Laws and
extended by Chapter 390 of the Acts of 1920 of the General
Assembly of Maryland, and again extended by Chapter 193 of
the Acts of 1922 of the General Assembly of Maryland, which
provides that no real estate or any estate therein, heretofore
or hereafter acquired and held for future use, and not for
investment by any hospital or asylum nor organised or con-
ducted for profit, shall be subject to State, County or Munici-
pal taxation, be and the same is hereby extended for a period
of four years dated from January 1, 1924.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1924.

Approved April 9, 1924.

CHAPTER 459.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Adjutant General to pay
out of any funds appropriated to the Military Department
the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25. 00) per month to Ed-
ward Zipprian, a former member of the Maryland National
Guard.

WHEREAS, Edward Zipprian, of Baltimore County, was seri-
ously injured at target practice at Saunders Range in 1904:
therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Adjutant General be and he is hereby author-
ized and directed to pay to Edward Zipprian out of any funds
appropriated to the Military Department the sum of twenty-
five dollars ($25. 00) per month during his natural life.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

Approved April 9, 1924.

CHAPTER 460.

AN ACT to amend Section 160C of Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, Volume 3, title "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title "Fraud—Advertisements. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 160C of Article 27 of the Annotated Code
