501 Att a Court held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the Eighteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty four In the twentieth year of the Dominion of Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietarie of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c.a Before
The same Sherriff makes return to the Court here of the vencry of the orphans Jury and the pannell endorsed who being called Likewise came to wit
make return as followeth to wit Robert Lisby for distroying Timber of the orphan Land of M.r Jonas Lanham and order that Sumons Issue for the Same But the Same Robert being at Court was called and in his proper person appeared and by the Court it is ordered That the Same Robert enter into Recognizance for his appearance at next Court to answer the afd presentment Thereupon the afd Robert of Kent County Gentl. in his proper person came into Court And Acknowledged himself Indebted to his Lordship The Lord proprietarie in the Sum of Twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed on his body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if he do not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday in August next Then and there to Answer unto a presentment of the orphans Jury for Trespassing on the Land belonging to the orphans of Jonas Lanham |
