173 assigned and did Seperately acknowledge themselves indebted unto the Same Lord prop.ry the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling each to be made and Levyed of their Several bodys Goods & Chattles Lands or Tenements for the Use of the Same Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors upon Condition that if the afd Thomas Baker Shall not make his personall appearance before the Justices of the Same County at a Court to be held for the Same County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday of March next to Answer unto Such things as Shall be then and there objected against him on his Said Lordships behalf and Stand and abide the determination of the Same Court thereupon then the above Recognizance to be Void otherwise to Remain in full force & Virtue Henry Evans And now here at the Same Court to Wit on the third tuesday in March being the Sixteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty came the afd Thomas in his proper person and Appeared to the Same and prayd his recognizance afd might be disch.d Ordered by the Court here That the Same be disch.d as prayed Thereupon, the Same Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d as prayed no cause to the Contrary being Shewn Memorand.m that on the fourth day of feb.ry Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & thirty Richard Hutton and William Boyer of Kent County planters appeared before me one of the Justices of the Right hon.ble the Lord prop.ry the peace in the County afd to keep assignd and acknowledged themselves to be Severally indebted unto the Same Lord prop.ry in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling each to be made & Levey'd on their Several bodys Goods and Chattles Lands or Tenements for the Use of the Said Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors upon Condition that if the Said Richard and William Shall not make their personall appearance before the Justices of the Same County at a Court to be held for Said County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third teusday of March next to testify the truth of their knowledge in certain matters on part of the same Lord prop.ry to be objected against a Certain Thomas Baker then the Same Recognizance to be Void Else to remain in full force |
