 Kent County fs  The Jurors for the Right hon.rble the Lord
propry that now is for the Body of Kent County afd upon their
oath do present that John Bowdie Late of S.t pauls parish
in Kent County Labourer the tenth day of February Anno Dom.
Seventeen hundred twenty and Nine at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion
of this Court with force and Arms One Dory of the Value of four hundred
pounds of Tobacco of the goods and Chattles of a Certain Isaac Perkins then and there
being found then and there did feloniously did Steal take and bear away Contrary
to the peace of the Said Lord propry that now is his good Rule and Government
and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such case Lately made & provided

    The afd Jn.o Bowdie was ord.r to give Security for his appearance at any
time dureing this Court Sitting.  Thereupon the afd John Bowdie in Court
came and Acknowledged himselfe Indebted to The Right Hon.rble the Ld propry in
the Sume of tenn pounds Sterl to be Leveyd on his Body Goods and Chattles
Lands and Tenements to the use of his Sd Lord Ship his heires and Successors
Conditionally that if the Said John Bowdie Shall not ap.r at any time dureing this
Courts Sitting to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Ld
Ships behalfe and in y.e mean time to be of good behav.r wherewith he
acknowledges himselfe Content

    At the Same time Came John Walls of Said County planter and did Acknowledge
himselfe Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord ppry in the Sume of
tenn pounds Sterl to be Leveyed on his Body goods and Chattles Lands and
Tenements to the use of his Said Lord Ship his heires and Successors Conditionally
that if the Said John Bowdie Shall not appear at any time dureing this Court
Setting to answ.r unto what Shall be objected against him on his Ldships behalfe and
that in the mean time he is to be of good behav.r wherewith he Acknowledges
himselfe Content

    After which Came againe the afd John Bowdie and in his proper
person appeard and prayd his afd Recog.c might be disch.d Ordered by the
Court here that the afd Recognizance be disch.d no cause being Shewn to the Contrary
Att which this Court here discharges the Same                                        And also
the afd John Walls for his appearance is also discharged

their oath do present that John Underhill late of S.t pauls
parish in the County afd labourer the tenth day of October Anno
Dom. one thousand Seven hundred twenty and Nine to the force
and Arms at the parish afd in the County afd within y.e Jurisdicion
of his Court three pecks of wheat of y.e Value of thirty and six
pds of Tobacco of the goods and Chattles of A certain Ishmael Barnett then & there
being found then & there feloniously did steal take & bear away contrary to the peace
of y.e Ld propry that now is his good rule & government & against y.e form of y.e Act of Assembly in Such
Case lately made & provided
