Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message notifying the Senate of the or-
ganization of your Honorable Body, and requesting the appoint-
ment of a Joint Committee to wait upon the Governor and inform
him that the General Assembly is now prepared to receive any
communication which he may desire to make. The Senate is or-
ganized, the Honorable David G. Mcintosh, Jr., being the Presi-
dent thereof and Emerson E,. Crothers, Secretary, and we respect-
fully concur in your message.

We have named on the part of the Senate Messrs. Mitchell and
Gunter.
