MESSAGES FROM THE HOUSE.

The Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following messages:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

ANNAPOLIS, MD., July 29, 1930.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

The House of Delegates, in response to the Governor's Procla-
mation, has met in extra session, and having organized by the
selection of E. Brooke Lee, Speaker, and Albert J. Almoney,
Chief Clerk, is now ready to proceed with the business of the ses-
sion.

We propose, with your concurrence, the appointment of a Joint
Committee of five—three upon the part of the House and two
upon the part of the Senate—to wait upon the Governor and in-
form him that the General Assembly is now prepared to receive
any communication he may be pleased to make.

We have appointed on the part of the House Messrs. Lindsay,
Joseph and Wilmer.
