COMMITTEE ON WAYS AND MEANS.

SENATE BILL, No. 2.

Mr. Lindsay, from the Committee on Ways and Means, reported
favorably Senate Bill No. 2, entitled "An Act making an emer-
gency appropriation for the payment of the expenses of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland for the extraordinary session of nine-
teen hundred and thirty."

Which favorable report was adopted and read the second time.

On motion of Mr. Lindsay, two-thirds of the members elected
voting in the affirmative, the Rules were suspended by yeas and
nays as follows, for the purpose of placing said bill on third read-
