Upon motion of Mr. Lindsay, the Ways and Means Committee
and Election Committee were granted permission by unanimous
consent of the House to retire to their respective Committee rooms
for the purpose of considering House Bill No. 1 and House Bill
No. 2.
On motion of Mr. Lindsay, two-thirds of the members elected
voting in the affirmative, the Rules were suspended by yeas and
