SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act shall be
applicable to the general registration of voters and the revision of
the registry books in Baltimore City, for the year 1930; and all
laws or parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
are hereby repealed to the extent of the inconsistency, insofar as
the same may relate to the general registration of voters and the
revision of the registry books in Baltimore City in the year 1930.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public safety, and, being passed upon a yea and
nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all of the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

HOUSE BILL No. 2.
A bill entitled "An Act making an emergency appropriation for
the payment of the expenses of the General Assembly of Maryland
for the extraordinary session of nineteen hundred and thirty."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of nine thousand dollars ($9,000), or so much
thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropri-
ated for the payment of the officers, employees and members of
the General Assembly of Maryland of the extraordinary session
of nineteen hundred and thirty, including mileage, printing, bind-
ing and miscellaneous expenses. The above appropriation is here-
by declared to be an emergency appropriation within the provi-
sions of Paragraph 4 of Sub-section D of Section 52 of Article 3,
title "Legislative Department," of the Constitution of the State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That the Treasurer of the
State shall, upon the warrant of the Comptroller, disburse the
said sums of money herein appropriated for the objects and pur-
poses herein specified, to or upon the order of the person or persons
entitled to receive the same.
