In the basement of the Building recently occupied by the Farmers and Mer-
chants' Bank, between the Museum and Barnum's City Hotel,

BALTIMORE.

The undersigned having recently renovated his Establishment by the

introduction of

OF THE LATEST AND MOST APPROVED CONSTRUCTION,

And such other improvements as were deemed necessary for the CAREFUL and
PROMPT EXECUTION of all classes of Work in his line; having careful and
experienced Workmen; and a FIRE-PROOF BUILDING, which affords great
security in keeping Plates and Notes during the progress of working, or other-
wise; the whole being EXCLUSIVELY under his OWN personal superintendance.
These advantages, combined with THIRTY YEARS practical experience, enable
him to offer superior facilities and inducements to all persons having work in
his line, and especially to BANKING INSTITUTIONS, to whom he tenders his ser-
vices for the prompt and faithful execution of all orders for Printing

BANK NOTES, CHECKS, CERTIFICATES, BONDS,

AND EVERY OTHER DESCRIPTION OF

Steel and Copper-Plate printing.

HAVING EFFECTED AN AGENCY WITH AN EXTENSIVE

BANK NOTE ENGRAVING ESTABLISHMENT,

HE IS PREPARED TO FURNISH

BANK NOTE PLATES, CERTIFICATES OF STOCK AND
DEPOSIT AND CASHIERS' CHECKS,

EITHER ON STEEL OR COPPER,

Equal in workmanship and material to any other establishment in the country,

upon the same terms, at the shortest notice.

PERSONS ARE INVITED TO CALL AND EXAMINE SPECIMENS.
