The Line of "The Magnetic Telegraph Company" extends between New York, Philadel-
phia, Baltimore and "Washington, with way stations at Jersey City, Newark, New Brunswick,
Princeton, New Hope, Trenton, Wilmington, Port Deposit and Havre de Grace; and connects
at New York, Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore and Washington, with other lines of Tele-
graph, extending throaghout the United States and British Provinces, to either of which mes-
sages and payment will be passed over as directed; but this Company assumes no resposibility
beyond sections of its own line from which communications are passed over to other lines, as
agent of the sender, and guarantees due care only to the amount of money paid for the transmis-
sion of any message over its wires.

The address, date and signature, of communications are not charged for. Figures are char-
ged for as if written into words. Give full address and attach your own address, thereby secu-
ring prompt delivery. Messages transmitted in the order of their reception—first coming being
first served—excepting only stipulations in favor of the public Police. Communications to be
pre-paid, unless answers to those marked ''ANSWER PAID'' on the margin. Persons wishing to pay
for answers, will please say so to the Clerk.

OFFICE HOURS.
From November 1st to April 1st, from 8 A. M. to 10 P. M. From April 1st to November 1st
from 7 A. M. to 10 P. M. On Sundays the principal offices will be open from 9 to 10 A. M. from
1 to 2 P. M., and from 7 to 9 P. M. The Way Station offices will close every Evening at 9 P.
M., and will not be open on Sundays from 1 to 2 P. M.
