12th ward.—Beginning where a line drawn along the centre of Howard street would intersect aline
drawn along the centre of Lexington street, running thence northwardly along the centre of Howard
street to a line drawn along the centre of Madison street, thence westwardly along the centre oi Madi-
son street to a line drawn along the centre of St. Mary street, thence south-westwardly along the centre
of St. Mary street to a line drawn along the centre of George street, thence westwardly along the centre
of George street to aline drawn along the centre of Pine street, thence southwardly along the centre of
Pine street to a line drawn along the centre of Lexington street, and thence eastwardly along the centre
of Lexington street to the place of beginning.

13th ward.—Beginning where a line drawn along the centre of Saratoga street would intersect a line
drawn along the centre of Howard street, running thence eastwardly along the centre of Saratoga street
to a line drawn along the centre of Charles street, thence southwardly along the centre of Charles street
to a line drawn along the centre of Pratt street, thence westwardly along the centre of Pratt street to a
line drawn along the centre of Howard street, and thence northwardly along the centre of Howard street
to the place of beginning.

14th ward.—Beginning where a line drawn along the centre of Howard street would intersect a line
drawn along the centre of Pratt street, and running thence northwardly along the centre of Howard
street to a line drawn along the centre of Lexington street, thence westwardly along the centre of
Lexington street to a line drawn along the centre of Pine street, thence southwardly along the centre
of Pine street to a line drawn along the centre of German street, thence westwardly a.ong the centre of
German street to a line drawn along the centre of Fremont street, thence southwardly along the centre
of Fremont street to a line drawn along the centre of Pratt street, and thence eastwardly along the
centre of Pratt street to the place of beginning.

15th ward.—Beginning at a point formed by the intersection of Pratt and Light streets with the water
of the basin, and running thence to the centre of Pratt street, thence westwardly along the centre of
Pratt street to a line drawn along the centre of Howard street, thence southwardly along the centre of
Howard street to a line drawn along the centre of Montgomery street, thence eastwardly along the
centre of Montgomery street to the water of the north-west branch of the Patapsco river, thence along
the line of the water of the said north-west branch and of the basin to the place of beginning.

16th ward.—Beginning where aline drawn along the centre of Pratt street would intersect a line
drawn through the centre of Howard street, and running thence westwardly along the centre of Pratt
street to a line drawn along the centre of Fremout street, thence southwardly along the centre of Fre-
mont street to a line drawn along the centre of Eutaw street, thence northwardly along the centre of
Eutaw street to a line drawn along the centre of Montgomery street, thence eastwardly along the centre
of Montgomery street to a line drawn along the centre of Howard street, and thence northwardly along
the centre of Howard street to the place of beginning.

17th ward.—Beginning at a point formed by the intersection of aline drawn along the centre of
Montgomery street with the water of the north-west branch of the Patapsco river, and running thence
westwardly along the centre ol Montgomery street to a line drawn along the centre of Eutaw street,
thence southwardly along the centre of Eutaw street to the water of the middle branch of the Patapsco
river, and thence along the line of the water of the middle, main, and north-west branches of Patapsco
river to the place of beginning.

18th ward—Beginning where a line drawn along the centre of Eutaw street would intersect aline
drawn alons the centre of Fremont street, thence southwardly along the centre of Eutaw street to the
water of the middle branch of the Patapsco river, thence along the water of the said middle branch and
of Gwynn's falls to the western boundary line of the city, thence northwardly along said line to a line
drawn along the centre of Lexington street, thence eastwardly along the centre of Lexington street to a
line drawn along the centre of Pine street, thence southwardly along the centre of Pine street to a line
drawn along the centre of German street, thence westwardly along the centre of German street to a line
drawn along the centre of Fremont street, and thence southerly along the centre of Fremont street to
the place of bf ginning.
