PART III.

Governor's Advisory Council.

SECTION 1. For the purpose of promoting co-ordination and
effective supervision over the conduct of the State Government,
the following shall constitute an Advisory Council for the Gov-
ernor:

The State Comptroller

The State Treasurer

The Attorney General

The Chairman of the State Board of Education

The President of the State Board of Agriculture and of the
University of Maryland

The Director of Welfare

The Director of Charities

The Director of Health

The Director of Public Works

The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles.

The Police Commissioner of Baltimore City

The Conservation Commissioner

The Commissioner of State Employment and Registration.

The said Advisory Council shall meet with the Governor,
from time to time, for the consideration of general State poli-
cies, finances, departmental and institutional work and condi-
tions.

General Repeal and Effective Clauses.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws conflicting or inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on and after the first day of January, 1923.

CHAPTER 30.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Somerset County to levy one thousand dollars ($1, 000) for
improvements to the Grammar School in the Asbury Dis-
trict, and to authorize and direct the County Board of Edu-
cation of said county to expend this amount in making the
said improvements.
