Forty Thousand Dollars ($40, 000. 00); for the erection and
equipping of a new public school building at Mt. Airy, the sum
of not exceeding Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15, 000. 00); the
whole amount so expended from the proceeds of the sale of
said bonds for the erection and equipping of new public school
buildings not to exceed the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($350, 000. 00); and of the said sum of not
exceeding Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($700, 000. 00) so
borrowed, the said Board of County Commissioners is hereby
authorized and empowered to expend for the purpose of con-
structing and permanently improving county public roads of
said county, the following sums of money in each of the several

election districts of said county, that is to say: In District No.

1, being Taneytown District, the sum of Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($25, 000. 00); in District No. 2, being Uniontown Dis-
trict, the sum of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35, 000. 00);
in District No. 3, being Myers' District, the sum of Fifteen
Thousand Dollars ($15, 000. 00); in District No. 4, being
Woolery's District, the sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25, 000. 00); in District No. 5, being Freedom District, the
sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25, 000. 00); in Dis-
trict No. 6, being Manchester District, the sum of Fifteen
Thousand Dollars ($15, 000. 00); in District No. 7, being West-
minster District, the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20, -
000. 00); in District No. 8, being Hampstead District, the sum
of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15, 000. 00); in District No. 9,
being Franklin District, the sum of Forty-five Thousand Dol-
lars ($45, 000. 00); in District No. 10, being Middleburg Dis-
trict, the sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25, 000. 00);
in District No. 11, being New Windsor District, the sum of
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20, 000. 00); in District No. 12.
being Union Bridge District, the sum of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20, 000. 00); in District No. 13, being Mt. Airy Dis-
trict, the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000. 00); in
District No. 14, being Barrett District, the sum of Thirty-five
Thousand Dollars ($35, 000. 00); the whole amount so ex-
pended from the proceeds of the sale of said bonds for the con-
struction and permanent improvement of public county roads
in said county not to exceed the sum of Three Hundred and
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350, 000. 00).

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said bonds shall
bear date the first day of July, 1922, and shall be listed and
sold in series, beginning with Series "A, " and subsequent
