sidewalks, pavements, and culverts in said town and pro-
hibiting the expenditure of said money for any other pur-
pose whatsoever.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kensington
in the County of Montgomery, be and they are hereby author-
ized, directed, empowered and required to expend any and all
money that they may receive from the sale of the water and
sewer system of the Town of Kensington in Montgomery County
for building, repair and maintenance of the public streets,
squares, avenues, lanes, alleys, parkings, bridges, sidewalks,
pavements and culverts in said Town of Kensington and for no
other purpose whatsoever.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That if any officer of said
Town shall in anywise, directly or indirectly violate any of
the provisions of this Act, he shall upon conviction thereof be
fined a sum not more than $500. 00 and the costs of the prosecu-
tion and in the default of the payment of the fine and costs
to be imprisoned in the Montgomery County jail for a period
not to exceed one year.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, that this Act shall take effect
on the 5th day of June, A. D. 1922.

CHAPTER 171.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the President and Com-
missioners of Princess Anne, in Somerset County, State
of Maryland, to issue bonds ad to use the proceeds arising
from the sale thereof for repairing, rebuilding, reconstruct-
ing, enlarging, extending and improving the system of
water supply and distribution, and the sewerage system in
the town of Princess Anne, and naming a commission to
take charge of and conduct said improvements and recon-
struction.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne
in Somerset County, be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to make and issue at such time or times as the said
