as they mature and sufficient to pay the interest thereon as the
same may become due and payable. And all assessments of
benefits on property benefited by any such sewer system shall
be applied by said County Commissioners in payment of said
certificates (principal and interest) sold to build, acquire or
establish such system and for no other purpose.

CHAPTER 527.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13,
14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 of Arti-
cle 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline
County," sub-title "Almshouse," and to add 9 new sections
to be known as Sections 1A, 2B, 3C, 4D, 5E, 6F, TG, 8H
and 9-1 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Caroline County," sub-title "Almshouse," the object of said
9 new sections being to provide for the management of the
almshouse and the cultivation of the almshouse farm under
the direction and control of the County Commissioners of
Caroline County and the abolishing of the Trustees of the
Poor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, V, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 of Article 6
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline County,"
sub-title "Almshouse," be and the same is hereby repealed; and
9 new sections be and the same are hereby added to be known
as Sections 1A, 2B, 3C, 4D, 5E. 6F. 7G, 8H and 9-1 of Article
6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline County,"

sub-title "Almshouse," and said new sections to read as follows:
Section 1A. The County Commissioners of Caroline Coun-
ty shall have charge of and control over the almshouse and the
property pertaining thereto, and they shall also make all con-
tracts for furnishing supplies and all thing's necessary for the
support and maintenance of all persons committed to the alms-
house.
Section .2B. The County Commissioners of Caroline Coun-
ty shall have power to make such rules, orders and regulations
for receiving, controlling and setting the poor to work, and
