thirds of one cent (% of 1 cent) on each one hundred dollars
to meet the interest and pay the installment on the "State
Loan of 1918"; a tax of two cents (2 cents) on each one hun-
dred dollars to meet the interest and pay the installment on the
"Road Loan of 1918"; a tax of two and one-tenth cents (2^
cents) on each one hundred dollars to meet the interest and
pay the installment on the "Lateral and Post Roads Loan of
1920"; a tax of three-twentieths of one cent (%0 of 1 cent)
on each one hundred dollars to meet the interest and pay the
installment on the " Bridge Loan of 1920"; a tax of one cent
(1 cent) on each one hundred dollars to meet the interest and
pay the installment on the "Construction Loan of 1920"; a
tax of nineteen-twentieths of one cent (1%o of 1 cent) on each
one hundred dollars to meet the interest on the "Lateral, Post
Road and Bridge Loan of 1922"; a tax of eleven-twentieths of
one cent (11/2Q of 1 cent) on each one hundred dollars to meet
the interest on the "General Construction Loan of 1922":
making an aggregate of thirty cents (30 cents) on each one
hundred dollars for the year 1924.

And there shall be duly levied, in accordance with law, the
same State taxes on the shares of the capital stock of all banks,
State and National, and other incorporated institutions and
companies of this State, the shares of whose capital stock are
liable to assessment and taxation.

CHAPTER 490.

AN ACT to repeal Article LXV of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (Bagby's Edition), title "Militia," and all amendments
thereto, and to enact in lieu thereof a new article to be known
as Article LXV of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Bag-
by's Edition), title "Militia."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly cf Mary-
land, That Article LXV of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(Bagby's Edition), title "Militia" and all amendments thereto,
be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That in lieu of the Arti-
cle repealed in Section 1 of this Act, a new Article LXV of
Annotated Code of Maryland (Bagby's Edition), title "Mili-
tia" is herebv enacted, and shall read as follows:
