AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
38 and 42 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Pubic
General Laws of Maryland title "Corporations", being
part of the Uniform Stock Transfer Act, for the purpose
of correcting errors therein and making the law of this
State uniform with the law of other States enacting said
Act,

CHAPTER 4T3.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mutual Insurance Com-
pany of Washington County to become a stock corporation
and providing the procedure by which said change may be
effected.

SECTION 1, Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mutual Insurance Company of Washington
County is hereby authorized, with the consent of at least three-
fourths of its directors, to become a stock corporation, subject
to the laws of this State applicable to such corporations and
those prescribing" the form and manner of making; amendments
to articles of incorporation, upon complying with the follow-
