ther under the direction of the Legislature than of the
the Executive—The Treasurers of the respective
shores are receiving and disbursing officers, appointed
at pleasure by the house of delegates alone. They
make ther reports according o la , to the Legisla-
ture, and are accountable entirely to that department.
