Thomas Head being presented and Indicted p Grand Jury
now appeares and submits

Therfore it is considered by this Court that the said Thomas
Head be discharged therfrom paying his Fees

          October the 9.th 1697

Kent fs    Then came Richard Macklin in his proper person
and informes ag.t Daniel Toaes of Kent County Inholder for
that he the said Daniel Toaes contrary to an Act of Assembly
made the 8.th day of May Anno 1695 att y.e Port of Annapolis for
this Province of Maryland Entituled an Act for regulateing
Ordinaries and limiting the Number of them within this
Province hath Kept ordinary with his att his house on the North
side of Chester River within this County one whole month w.thout
Lycence first had and obtained and prayes that pcesse may goe
out ag.t the said Daniel Toaes to cause him to Answer the said
Richard Macklin who followes as well for our soveraigne Lord
the King as for himselfe att the next Court to be Holden for Kent
County

Kent fs   Be it remembred that the 23.d day of November Anno
1697 came here into Court Richard Macklin late of sd County Gent
and exhibits here into Court his certaine informacon ag.t Daniel
Toaes of sd County Inholder the Ten.r of which informacon follow
in these words To the Justices of our Lord the king for Kent
County

Kent fs   Be it remembred that Richard Macklin late of said
County Gent who as well for the Lord our King as for himselfe
in that behalfe Followes Gives the Court aforesd here to understand
and be informed that whereas by a certain Act of Assembly made
att a general Assembly held for this Province of Maryland the 8.th
                                                                                              day
