811 Mary Plumb als Medford Acknowlidgeth a deed to Peter Allaby for Part of a Tract of Land called Pentridge William Comegys James Wroth Thomas Keare Daniel Toaes gives his Test the rest are sworne and all sent to the Grand Jury Alexander Sox serv.t to M.r David Kennady adjudged by this Court to be Nine Yeares of Age and to serve according to Law in such case made and Provided And the said David Kennedy by M.r Stephen Beardly his attorney comes into Court being authorised therunto and binds himselfe his Heires Executo.rs Adm.rs and Assignes to pay unto the said Alexander for the sume of Tenn poundes sterl money of England att the Expiracon of his time of servitude which will be when the sd Alexander Arrives to the Age of Twenty and One Yeares to be Commenced from his First Arrival in this Province of Maryland which was by the Affirmacon of M.r Stephen Beardly Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents that I David Kenneday of Sommersett County Esq constitute and appoint Stephen Beardley of Kent County Gent my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name and for my use to have bound as a serv.t a boy called Alexander Sox according to Instruction delivered on that behalfe hereby Ratifieing and confirmeing what my said Att.ry shall doe in or about the premises In Wittnesse whereof I have sett my hand and seal this 17.th day of November 1697 sealed and delivered David Kennedy (seal) In the p.rsence of George Jackson Ric Macklin |
