582 8.th Whereas it is observed by this Court that Jurors are generally Negligent in Appearing and Attending on the Court whereby the businesse in the said Court depending is often delayed to prevent the same for the future it is hereby ordered that any Juror lawfully summoned by the Sheerif that doth not appeare and Attend att the time of the Courts sitting fined according as the Law directs without sufficient cause shewen to be allowed of by the Court This Court adjournes to the Court in Course & to be held att the house of M.r Daniel Norris Simon Wilmer Clk Att meeting of the Justices att the Towne of New Yarmouth the 6.th day of April Anno Dom 1696
Justices Whereupon M.r William Harris did the last Court produce a precedence from the provintial Court directed to the Justices of this Court for confirmeing a Judgm.t obtained in this Court for the sume of 1500 1/2.ll Tob & cost ag.t M.r Michael Miller And the said Miller att the same time produceing a Writt of Error to the said Court The Justices now Meeting to answer on the premises Doe order that the Clerke deliver a Coppy of the whole proceedings to M.r Michael Miller when therunto required and as the Law in that case directs and that the sheeriff give M.r Harris Notice of the same Simon Wilmer Clk |
