532 The same Court sitts againe (being adjourned from Yesterday) this 28.th day of August Anno 1695 M.r Charles Tilden makeing his complaint to this Court that being Assaulted by M.r Edward Balthurst from whome he received severall blowes with a Caine which the said Balthurst then had in his hand in defence of his life he the said Tilden after some time did arrest the said caine out of his hand and delivered the same to Capt Edward Sweatnam One of their Maj.ties Justices of the peace for this County who brings the said Caine into Court and delivers it to M.r Charles Baste and said Balthurst his Attorny Lydrake Whitworth is sworne Attorny in this Court and takes the Oathes appointed Act of parliament instead of the Oathes of Alleigance in Supremacy William Rodgers is by this Court bound unto William Jones shoemaker for Two Yeares who Engages to this Court to use his utmost Endeavor to learne him the said William Rodgers his trade and att the expiracon of his time to give him a New suit of Clothes viz: wastcoate & breeches Coate shoes and stockings hatt Two new shirts & working Keare sufficient to worke Journy worke
have sum the said ^Browne^ to appear &c and the said Browne produceing and proveing an Accompt against the said Arnold wherin he makes the said Arnold in his Debt Ordered by this Court that y.e Browne be discharged from the said Attachm.t Simon Wilmer Clk |
