Examined & acknowledged her Volutary
& free consent without threats or menaceing
of her husband to y.e conveying y.e aforesd

This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of
august in y.e sixth year of the Reigne of our sovereign
Lord & Lady William & Mary by y.e grace of God of
England Scotland France & Ireland King & Queen
defend.rs of y.e faith &c.a Anoq dom one thousand six hundred
and ninety four Between Benjamin Blackleach and
Hanah his wife of Kent County of y.e one part and
John Sutton of y.e County of Talbott on y.e other
part wittnesseth that y.e said Benjamin Blackleach
for & in Concideracion of y.e sume of twenty one thousand
pounds of tobacco in hand payd or well & truly secured
to be payd the Receipt whereof he y.e said Benjamin
Blackleach doth acknowledge himselfe fully sattisfied
& of Ever part & percell thereof he y.e s.d Benjamin
doth hereby acquit & discharge he y.e s.d John Sutton his
heires Executors & admt.rs And by these presents doth fully
clearly & absolutely give grant bargaine sell allien
Enfeoffe & confirm unto y.e s.d John Sutton his heires and
assigness all that percell tract of land & plantation
called Batchellors hope Lieing in Kent County in Chester
River on y.e north side of y.e s.d River begining at a mark
Cedar standing at y.e mouth of a coave called Welsh
harbor & Runing up y.e River for breadth one hundred
forty five perches unto a markd white oake and boun[-]
ded one ye north with a line drawn north west three
hundred & twenty perches & bounded on y.e west with a
line drawn south west one hundred forty five pches
and on y.e south with y.e Land of Cap.t Robert Vaughan
