To the worshipfull y.e Justices of Kent County y.e
humble petticion of John Hynson Excto.r of
Majo.r Joseph Wickes late of Kent County desaed

Humbly sheweth that on y.e Island of Kent in y.e Juris
diction of this Court majo.r Wickes dyed seazed of a
Certaine tract of land Comonly Called & known by y.e
name of Love point upon which tract of land by y.e
Inhabitants of y.e s.d Island Theire have & dayly are
dover Inccosions & trespasses upon y.e same Comitted by
meanes of a Road that is made & leades to y.e point
not being to any other plantation nor to any ^publique^ landing
nor to any publique advantage & butt wholy to y.e damage
of yo.r pettitioner & them to whome y.e heritage may
defend being within y.e Inclousures of yo.r petitioner &
them Concerned     prayes order of this Court that y.e
                              long Continued Injuries may Cas &
                              That their may noe Road bee within
                              the Inclousures any more for y.e
                              Reasons above alondged & shall pray

upon y.e pettition of John Hynson Execto.r as aforesd
this Court doth take it into serious Consideration &
that for y.e Injuries & trespasses as in y.e s.d pettition
is sett fourth & that y.e said Road being not
for any publique benefitt or Intrust of y.e Inhabitants
of y.e Island as aforesd It is therfore
ordered by this Court y.t y.e Inhabitants of y.e said
Island doe Ceas from passing in & through y.e
plantation & Inclousures of y.e aforesd Joseph
Wickes deseased as being a publique Road &
it is further ordered y.t for y.e futor ther be noe
Publique Road throu y.e land & plantation of
y.e aforesd desead
