Maryland fs            Know all men by these presents that
                            I Benjamin Blackleach of Kent County
                            Cordwainder am holden & firmly bound
                            unto Thomas Joce of y.e same Inholder
                            in y.e full & Just sum of seventy one
                            thousand pounds of tobb to be paid unto
                            the sd Thomas Joce his heirs Exect.rs Admt.rs
                            or to any or either of them for performance
                            hereof I binde my selfe my heirs
                            Exct.rs or Admt.rs Joyntly or severally
                            firmly by these presents sealed with
                            my seale & dated this tenth day of
                            October Annoq Dom (1691)


The Condition of y.e above obligation is such y.t if
that if y.e above bounded Benjamin Blackleach
his heirs Exect.rs Administrators & every of them doe
and shall from time & and at all times hereafter well &
truly observe performe fullfill & keep all & singular
y.e covenants grants conditions & agreements w.ch on y.e
part of y.e sd Benjamin Blackleach his heirs Exct.rs
Admt.rs are & ought to be observed performed & kept
conteined specified & declared In one pair of Indentures
of grant bargan & sale bearing even date with this
obligation made betweene y.e sd Benjamin Blackleach
of y.e one part and y.e above named Thomas
Joce of the other part & that in & by all things written
& specified in y.e Indentures that then the above
obligation to be void else to remaine in full force &
vertue in law
