237 (119) Anthony Alexander being bound by Recognizance to make his psonall Appeareance to this Court to Answere what shall bee aleadged against him by Elizabeth Davis of this County spinster whome hath sworne on the Holy Evangelists that the said Alexander is the father of her Basterd Child the s.d Alexander being Called maketh his personall Appeareance This Court Examining him & considering doth Order the sherriffe to take said Alexander into his Custody and Order that the said Alexander doe Give Good and sufficient security To save the County Indenyenified and harmeless from said Basterd Child
From any charge matter or thing Concerning the aforesaid Basterd Child This Court Orders that the said Anthony Alexander bee Cleared by Proclamacon w.ch accordingly is Tho Joce Clk [illegible] being bound by Recognizance to his good Abareance and appeareance att this Court hee being Called and Appeares and not any pson or any thing against him appeareance This Court orders that hee bee Cleared by Proclamacon which is accordingly done Tho Joce Clk This Court doth Adjorne For the space of Two Hours |
