196 Dorothy Noble being p.rsented for Haveing a Bastard Child being sumoned to appeare and this Court Examining her she refuseing to declare the father of said Basterd Child This Court orders the said Dorothy Noble to have twenty five Lashes well laid on her bare backe for haveing a Basterd Child and that the sherife take her Into Custody untill she give sufficient security for her Good abareance and behaviour and to keepe and save the County Harmeless for the said Basterd Child from all Charge that may Happen This Court Adjournes for One Hour The same Court is againe sett M.rs Mary Ringgold being sumoned to appeare att this Court concerneing y.e Orphan Thomas Jackson being p.rsent to p Jury appeares this court orders said Orphan to Remaine and continue with M.rs Mary Ringgold Michaell Miller and Allan smith comes Into court and oblidge themselves as security to save and keepe the County Harmeless from the said Dorothy Noble her Basterd Child Henry Kennett and George Greene ackowledge themselves security for the Good Behaviour & abareance of Dorothy Noble to all his Lordspps Good People and to make her psonall appeareance att the next Court to bee holden for this County Allan Smith and Phillip Conner sumoned to appear att this Court concerning Lowders Orphans being p.rsent p Jury and appeares the Court orders said Orphans to bee according to Former order |
