182 To the Worshipfull Justices In Kent County Court sitting The Peticon of Morgan Jones sheweth That Richard Mason had given him by his Aunt Mary Hosier a Cow and Calfe and sixteen hundred pounds of tobacco w.ch was Recorded [illegible] Hosier deceased and in his Possession But now In Possession of Henry Hosier servante to his father yo.r Petion.r Prayes this Worshippfull Court to grant an Order that the said Tobacco and Cattle may be delivered to yo.r Pet.r for w.ch shall give security as the Law requires And yo.r Pet.r shall Pray Richard Lowder becoming security w.th the said Morgan Jones for Tenn Thousand pounds of Tobacco This Court orders That the Cattle and the Tobacco In the Peticon above menconed bee Delivered unto the said Morgan Jones M.r Turbutt Clk Henry Kennett makeing his appeareance att This Court In thereuppon Chan.d by Proclamacon To The Worshippfull the Comission.rs of Kent County The Humble Peticon of Lewis Meridith sheweth That whereas yo.r Peticon.r hath kept & maintained a Child of Morgan Jones Tanner his foure yeares dureing her Infancy he humbly Prayes this Hopp.ll Court That there may be bound to him according to the Act of Assembly and hear in Duty shall Pray This Court orders That Lewis Meredith take into his keepeing susanah Jones and that she there abide & remaine untill shee come to Age according to Act of Assembly Henry Williams Recordeth for his son Jacob Williams the marke of a Red Heiffer and the Heifer and her Increase being marked with a Cropp and slitt on the right Eare and under keele on the left Eare Henry Williams M.
