16 Bee it Known unto all Men by these p.rsents: That Wee William Lawrance & James: Ringgold: & Rob.t Dunn all of y.e County of Kent in y.e Province of Maryland Gen.t Doe Acknowledge our selves to one And be Indebted unto y.e Right Hon.rbl y.e Lord Prop.rty of this Province of y.e Full & Just sume of twenty two thousand pounds of Good sound and Merchantable tobacco and Caske And for y.e s.d Payment Well & truly made & Done Wee binde our selves our heires executors Administrators Joyntly & severally as Wittness our hands & seales y.e 22.th Day of June 1675 The Condition of this obligation is such That if y.e above bounden W.m Lawrance his heirs executors or Administrators or any of them Doe well & truly satisfie and pay unto William Eliott Late of this County Deceased: y.e Full Due of Cattell & tobacco as is And Remains in y.e Costody & Possess of the Above named W.m Lawrance Remaineth upon y.e Record of this County when he y.e s.d W.m Eliott shall According to Law be Capeable to receive his estate into his own hands & Possesion this his obligation to be Voyd and of noe Efect or else to Remaine In full force & strength & Vertue
