The house resumed the consideration of the bill to alter and abolish all such parts of the constitution and
form of government as are therein mentioned, and the question was put, That the words proposed yesterday to
be stricken out be now stricken out? The yeas and nays being required, appeared as follow:

So it was determined in the negative.

The clerk of the senate delivers the bill to authorise a lottery to raise a sum of money for the use of the Ger-
man lutheran and presbyterian congregations in or near Boonsborough, in Washington county, endorsed, " will
pass. " Ordered to be engrossed. "' Also the bill to empower the executive to purchase arms, for the use of the
militia of this state, and for other purposes therein mentioned, endorsed, " will pass with the proposed amend-
ments; " which amendments were read, agreed to, and the bill ordered to be engrossed. "Also the further ad-
ditional supplement to the act, entitled, An act to lay out and make a public road from the Black-house, in Har-
ford county, to intersect the Pennsylvania line, endorsed, " will not pass" Also the resolution relative to the
road from Hancock to Cumberland, the resolution in favour of John Maloy, and the resolution relative to the
inspection of public records, severally endorsed, " dissented from. " Also the resolution relative to the peni-
tentiary, endorsed, " assented to. " Also a letter from the executive requesting some order as to the deposite
and application of the public arms; which was read. And the engrossed bills from No. 44 to 48, inclusive,
from No. 50 to 70, inclusive, and No. 74 and 75, severally endorsed, " read and assented to. "

The further additional supplement to the act, entitled. An act to provide for the administration of justice in
cases of crimes and misdemeanors in the city and county of Baltimore, and for other purposes, was read the
second time and passed.

The bill to incorporate the convention of the protestant episcopal church in Maryland, was read the second
time, and the question put, Shall the said bill pass? The yeas and nays being required, appeared as follow:

THE house met. Present the same members as on yesterday. The proceedings of yesterday were read.
The bill to incorporate the convention of the protestant episcopal church in Maryland, the further additional
supplement to the act, entitled, An act to provide for the administration of justice in the cases of crimes and
misdemeanors in the city and county of Baltimore, and for other purposes and the resolution relative to the
distribution of arms, were sent to the senate by the clerk.

The engrossed bills from No. 76 to 95, inclusive, and from No. 97 to 110, inclusive, were read, assented to,
and scut to the senate by the clerk.
