THE house met. Present the same members as on yesterday. The proceedings of yesterday were read. scribed by the constitution and form of government, and taking the oath to support the constitution of the United States, took his seat in the house. A petition from Samuel Hooper, of Dorchester county, praying that a law may pass, enabling him to make a good and valid conveyance to Isaac Creighton, in fee, of the lands and premises therein mentioned, agreeably to his contract with the said Creighton, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr. Frazier, Mr. Ward and Mr. Watts to consider and report thereon.
