No. 114. An ACT to appoint commissioners to lay out anew the town of Nottingham, in Prince-George's county, and for
other purposes therein mentioned.
No. 115. An ACT for the payment of the journal of accounts.

No. 116. A Supplement to an aft. entitled, An act to enlarge the powers of the commissioners of the town of Havre-de-Grace,
No. 117. An ACT to confirm certain acts of magistrates who hold, or have held, offices under the general government.
No. 118. An ACT for the benefit of the corporation of the Roman Catholic clergymen, and lor other purposes.
No. 119. A Further additional supplement to the act, entitled, An act to direct descents.

The Speaker, with the rest of the members, returned and resumed the chair.
The house adjourns until the first day of October next.

ORDERED, That the bill, entitled, " A supplement
to an act concerning estates tail, " be published with the Votes
and Proceedings.

A BILL, entitled,

A Supplement to an act concerning estates tail.

BE IT ENACTED, the General Assembly of Maryland, That any

person or persons, seized of any estate tail, in possession, reversion or remain-
der, shall have full power to devise any lands, tenements or hereditaments,
whereof he, she or they, shall be so seized, by such manner and form of
devise as any person seized of an estate in fee-simple may, by the laws of
this state, devise any lands, tenements or hereditaments, whereof such per-
son is seized of an estate in fee-simple; and all and every such devise, of any
person or persons so seized in tail, shall be good and available, to all intents
and purposes, against all and every person or persons whom the devisor might
or could debar by any mode of common recovery, or any ways or means
whatever, any law or usage to the contrary notwithstanding.
